Renzo Novatore was an Italian autodidact, individualist anarchist, and anti-fascist nihilist who deserted the army, glorified crime, penned a transsexual narrative against childbirth, and went down shooting in a carabinieri ambush in 1922. Recently unearthed from the Italian anarchist archives and translated by Wolfi Landstreicher, this pocket collection of vigorous poetics and Nietzschean fable are an essential companion to his “Toward the Creative Nothing” and the writings collected in Novatore.
